About Us

Will was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Moody Bible Institute and Moody AviationFlying graduating with a Degree in Aviation Technology. As a commercial pilot with flight instructor and advanced ground instructor ratings, Will is well prepared to serve with MAF. He also holds an airframe and powerplant (A&P) aircraft mechanic’s license.

Growing up in a Christian home, Will attended Sunday school and church regularly. His Sunday school teacher led him to Christ at an early age. After a short-term trip to Guatemala, Will felt that God was calling him to serve in missions. He was introduced to MAF while attending Moody Bible Institute.

Julie was raised in a Christian home in Broken Bow, Nebraska. At the age of five, after hearing a missionary story, Julie realized she hadn’t accepted Christ as her Savior, and made her decision to follow Him. After graduating from high school, Julie attended Moody Bible Institute, and obtained a B.A. Degree in communications. While at Moody, Julie met Will and through him became interested in missionary aviation and MAF. They were married in 1993.

Will and Julie served their first term in two locations, Suriname, South America from March of 1997 through March of 2000. They then moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti and served the remainder of their first term through October of 2000. They have served their second term in Haiti. Will flies short term mission teams out of Port-au-Prince to 11 different landing sites in Haiti. He may make as many as 4 flights per day with medical teams, building teams, and evangelistic teams.

The Whites have one son William III, 5 ½, and one daughter Abigail Joy who is almost two years old.

The Whites began their third term with MAF in Haiti, June 23, 2005.
